Hero Section Designer

Design high-converting hero sections that pair strong visuals, persuasive copy, and a clear CTA for the top of any funnel page.

What it does

Builds the hero section of landing pages and funnels, where most conversion decisions happen in the first few seconds. Combines visual hierarchy, a clear promise, and a call to action, always leaving a draft for review before anything goes live.

When to use it

Steps

  1. Define the offer and target audience for the page
  2. Draft 3 headline and subheadline variants focused on the benefit
  3. Choose a visual or illustration that reinforces the promise
  4. Design hierarchy: headline, subheadline, CTA, social proof
  5. Insert the draft into the GoHighLevel builder or chosen platform
  6. Present variants to the client for approval before publishing

# Hero Section Designer

## 1. What it does
Builds the hero section of landing pages and funnels, where most conversion decisions happen in the first few seconds. Combines visual hierarchy, a clear promise, and a call to action, always leaving a draft for review before anything goes live.

## 2. When to use it
- Launching a new landing page or GoHighLevel funnel page
- Redesigning a page with low click-through or conversion rate
- Preparing A/B variants of the main headline area

## 3. Steps

## 4. GoHighLevel angle
If the page lives in GoHighLevel, build the hero directly in the GHL page builder and use its native form and calendar blocks.

## 5. Safety rules
Always work in draft mode: nothing is sent, published, or paid for without explicit client approval. Never invent data, metrics, or results. No passwords, tokens, or API keys are requested or shown in chat.

## 6. Deliverable
A clear, reviewable draft of the output (text, code, report, or file), ready for the user to approve before it becomes final.

For Claude Code, save it as ~/.claude/skills/hero-section-designer/SKILL.md. In Cursor, ChatGPT or another assistant, paste it as project instructions.
