This skill's short video goes here. What it does
This skill drafts LinkedIn posts following a strong opening hook and short-line spacing that favors feed readability. It includes a review gate that catches typical AI phrasing, em dashes, markdown that doesn't render on LinkedIn, weak hooks, and links placed inside the post body, all before considering the post ready.
When to use it
- When you need to post on LinkedIn consistently without sounding generic
- When you want to avoid a post 'sounding like AI' before publishing it
- When you want a post format that actually reads well on the mobile feed
Steps
- Define the topic and angle of the post with the user
- Draft a strong opening hook as the first line
- Structure the body with short lines and readable spacing ('broetry' style)
- Run the automatic review: detect AI-tell phrases, em dashes, broken markdown, weak hooks, and links in the body
- Fix what's flagged and re-review until it passes the quality gate
- Deliver the post as a final draft, without publishing it

--- name: linkedin-post-writer description: Drafts LinkedIn posts with a strong hook and readable formatting, and runs a review that catches AI-tell phrasing, broken markdown, and weak hooks before delivering them as a draft. --- # LinkedIn Post Writer ## 1. Purpose Produce LinkedIn post drafts with a scroll-stopping hook and feed-friendly formatting, without sounding like generic AI text. ## 2. Topic definition Agree with the user on the topic, angle, and goal of the post (authority, personal story, offer, opinion). ## 3. Opening hook The first line must generate enough curiosity or tension for the reader to click 'see more'. ## 4. Readable formatting Use short lines with 'broetry'-style spacing, avoiding dense text blocks that get lost on the mobile feed. ## 5. Review gate Before delivering the post, check it against a watchlist: typical AI phrasing, em dashes, markdown that doesn't render on LinkedIn, weak hooks, and links placed in the body instead of the first comment. ## 6. Iteration If the post fails any flag, fix it and re-run the review before delivering. ## 7. Safety rules - The post is always delivered as a draft; it is never auto-published to LinkedIn. - The user's achievements, numbers, or anecdotes are never invented; only what the user provides is used. - No LinkedIn credential or third-party API key is ever exposed in chat.
