This skill's short video goes here. What it does
Describes an editing pipeline for raw customer testimonials: transcription, selection of the best fragments, speaker intro cards, captions, and export in square and vertical formats. It is not a turnkey tool; it walks you step by step through transcription, audio/video editing, and composition tools you already have.
When to use it
- When you have a long testimonial recording and need a short clip for social.
- When you want consistent formatting across multiple different customer testimonials.
- When preparing social proof for a sales page or an ad.
Steps
- Transcribe the full testimonial with timestamps.
- Identify the 3-5 strongest fragments based on clarity and stated results.
- Order the fragments into a short narrative: context, problem, result.
- Add a speaker intro card with name and context only if confirmed by the customer.
- Generate captions and check their accuracy against the audio.
- Export in square and vertical formats for different channels.

--- name: testimonial-video-editor description: Step-by-step guide to edit a raw customer testimonial into a polished social clip with content selection, intro cards and captions. --- # Testimonial Video Editor ## What it does Guides the process of turning a long, unedited customer recording into a short, polished clip ready for social media or a sales page. It does not replace your video editor; it directs it step by step. ## When to use it Use it when you have recorded testimonials and need to produce consistent social proof, for example to show results from a client who used GoHighLevel as part of your service. ## Transcription and selection 1. Transcribe the full audio with timestamps. 2. Select the 3-5 clearest fragments with concrete results mentioned by the customer, using only what the customer actually said. ## Narrative 3. Order the fragments into a simple structure: context, problem, result. ## Visual elements 4. Add a speaker intro card with name and role, only if the customer approved using their name. 5. Generate captions and verify them against the original audio. ## Export 6. Export in square (feed) and vertical (reels/stories) formats. ## GoHighLevel angle 7. If the testimonial mentions results from a GHL client, verify those figures against the actual report before including them; a number is never rounded up or exaggerated. ## Safety rules 1. Every deliverable (script, email, post, ad, design) is produced as a draft first. 2. Nothing is sent, published, or paid for without explicit human approval. 3. Never invent metrics, testimonials, customer names, or data not present in the provided sources. 4. No credential, API key, or token is ever written or pasted into chat; reference environment variables instead.
