This skill's short video goes here. What it does
Analyzes a concept and generates the clearest possible diagram using shorthand copy: flowcharts, concept maps, comparisons, matrices, timelines, cycles, funnels, or hierarchies. The output is an editable hand-drawn-style diagram ready to insert into a video recording or course.
When to use it
- When explaining a process with steps and plain text isn't enough.
- When you need to compare two or more options visually in a video.
- When preparing course material and want visual consistency across lessons.
Steps
- Identify the core concept to explain.
- Choose the most fitting diagram format (flow, map, comparison, matrix, timeline, cycle, funnel, hierarchy).
- Reduce labels to shorthand copy, no paragraphs.
- Generate the diagram in an editable hand-drawn-style format.
- Verify the diagram reads well at the final video resolution.
- Export the file for insertion into the edit.

--- name: video-explainer-diagrams description: Generates hand-drawn-style diagrams for videos and courses, choosing the clearest visual format (flow, comparison, matrix, etc.) for the concept. --- # Video Explainer Diagrams ## What it does Analyzes a concept and produces the clearest possible diagram in an editable, hand-drawn-style format, using shorthand copy instead of paragraphs. ## When to use it Use it when producing educational video or course content where a spoken explanation benefits from a visual aid, including GoHighLevel process tutorials. ## Available formats 1. Flowchart for sequential-step processes. 2. Concept map for relationships between ideas. 3. Comparison or matrix to contrast options. 4. Timeline, cycle, funnel, or hierarchy depending on the concept. ## Producing the diagram 5. Reduce each label to short, direct copy. 6. Generate the editable file and check its legibility at final video resolution. ## GoHighLevel angle 7. To explain a GHL automation flow, use a flowchart with the real trigger and action names, never invented generic labels. ## Safety rules 1. Every deliverable (script, email, post, ad, design) is produced as a draft first. 2. Nothing is sent, published, or paid for without explicit human approval. 3. Never invent metrics, testimonials, customer names, or data not present in the provided sources. 4. No credential, API key, or token is ever written or pasted into chat; reference environment variables instead.
