This skill's short video goes here. What it does
Walks you through building a prospect list that actually works: businesses that match your ideal client, the person who makes the call, and every field with its source and verified. Anything that cannot be confirmed is marked pending, not filled in.
When to use it
- You are about to start a cold email, calling or WhatsApp campaign.
- Someone handed you an old or purchased list and you do not know how good it is.
- You want an AI assistant to help prospect without inventing contacts.
Steps
- Define the ideal client: industry, city, size and signals they need what you sell.
- Pull businesses from public sources (Google Maps, directories, their website).
- Find the decision-maker and their email or phone, with the source noted.
- Verify: live website, valid email, correct phone, not already a client.
- Remove duplicates against your CRM.
- Deliver the list with fixed columns and a note on what could not be verified.

--- name: verified-prospect-lists description: Build B2B prospect lists (local businesses and decision-makers) with a source and verification for every field, inventing nothing. Use when the user asks for a lead list, prospects, a cold email or calling list, or to clean an existing list. --- # Verified Prospect Lists ## Rule number one Never invent a name, email, phone or title. If you did not find it in a source, the cell says `pending`. ## 1. Define the ideal client (ask if missing) - Industry and city or region. - Approximate size (employees, locations). - Need signals: calls go unanswered, outdated website, no online booking, many unanswered reviews, etc. - Decision-maker title (owner, director, marketing manager). - Exclusions: current clients, competitors, industries they do not serve. ## 2. Find businesses Public sources: Google Maps, industry directories, the business website, its social profiles and public records. Note the URL each business came from. ## 3. Find the decision-maker - The site's "about" or "team" page, LinkedIn, press mentions. - Email: the published one first; if you use a pattern (name@domain), mark it `pattern` and verify it. ## 4. Verify every row - Website loads and belongs to the same business. - Email passes verification (valid; catch-all flagged separately). - Phone is well formatted and matches Google or the website. - Not already in the CRM or on the exclusion list. ## 5. Delivery columns `business | website | city | industry | contact | title | email | email_status | phone | need_signal | source | verified_on` ## 6. Deliver - CSV or Google Sheet with the columns above. - Summary: how many complete rows, how many with pending fields and why. - Nothing goes into a campaign until the user reviews the list. ## Compliance Follow the privacy and commercial messaging rules of both the prospect's and the user's country (e.g. CAN-SPAM in the US). Business data only, never sensitive personal data.
