This skill's short video goes here. What it does
Sets up a "desk" in Notion where every message between you and your AI assistants is a row: From, To, Subject, Message, Priority, Type and Status. Each assistant checks what is theirs, marks it in progress and closes it with the result. Nobody duplicates work and you see everything in one place.
When to use it
- You run more than one AI assistant and they step on each other.
- You want to know what each assistant is doing without asking each one.
- You need a clear rule for who does what (for example, only one answers email).
Steps
- Create the database with From, To, Subject, Message, Priority, Type and Status.
- Define the statuses: New, In progress, Done and Blocked.
- Write the rules at the top of the page: one message is one row, who does what.
- Give each assistant access and have it check its new rows every hour.
- Create views per assistant, by priority and one for blocked items.
- Review the blocked view once a day.

--- name: notion-command-center description: Create and run a Notion coordination desk for an owner and their AI assistants (rows with From, To, Subject, Message, Priority, Type, Status). Use when several assistants work for the same person, or when reading, taking and closing items from that desk. --- # Notion Command Center ## "Desk" database structure | Property | Type | Values | |---|---|---| | Subject | Title | One-line summary | | From | Select | The owner and each assistant | | To | Select | Same as From, plus `Everyone` | | Message | Text | The full request, with links | | Priority | Select | High, Medium, Low | | Type | Select | Task, Question, Notice, Approval | | Status | Status | New, In progress, Done, Blocked | | Result | Text | What was done, or why it is blocked | Views: "By assistant" (grouped by To), "High priority", "Blocked" and "Done this week". ## Rules (paste them at the top of the page) 1. Every message is a new row. Never edit someone else's message; reply with another row. 2. Every task has one owner in `To`. If it is for `Everyone`, whoever takes it first marks it `In progress` and writes their name in Result. 3. One owner per type of work. Example: only one assistant answers email, and always as drafts. 4. No passwords or card details on the desk. 5. Anything irreversible or outward-facing (send, publish, pay) goes in as `Approval` for the owner. ## How an assistant works each check 1. Filter: `To` = its name or `Everyone`, and `Status` = New. 2. Mark the row `In progress`. 3. If it falls within what the owner already authorized, do the work. 4. Close with `Done` and the result with links, or `Blocked` with the reason and what it needs. 5. If it is urgent or needs the owner, send one short message on their main channel. 6. If there are no new rows, say nothing. ## Deliverable when setting it up - Link to the database with the views created. - The rules written at the top of the page. - One test row per assistant, closed as `Done`.
